From www.9news.com/rss/article.aspx?storyid=93743:LITTLETON – The 23rd Annual Fire Truck Parade and Muster roared through downtown Littleton Saturday morning.For more than 150 years, Firemen across the United States have gathered to show off their fire trucks, compete for departmental pride and have fun.A collection of more than 100 antique and late model fire trucks rolled through town.The parade combines fire trucks of the past with modern-day emergency vehicles used to battle fires in the area.Junior firefighters were treated to free fire hats and fire truck tattoos. Members of the Littleton Fire Rescue also pried apart a crushed car, demonstrated new emergency medical equipment and answered questions about fire fighting.Littleton Fire Rescue hosted the event. The muster is the largest event of its kind in the Rocky Mountain region.
