Lo 2000 hieß der Leicht-Lkw, den Daimler-Benz 1932 auf dem Genfer Automobilsalon präsentiert. Er ist mit dem neu konzipierten 3,8-Liter-Vorkammerdiesel OM 59 bestückt und verhalf dem Selbstzünder zum Durchbruch auf breiter Front.Universelle KonzeptionMehr als 13 000 Einheiten produziert.Wendig, schnell und sparsam fand dieses Fahrzeug großen Anklang. Seine universelle Konzeption erlaubte die Verwendung als Kipper, Möbel-, Tank- und Kühlwagen sowie als Sonderfahrzeug für Kommunen, Polizei und Feuerwehr. Auch als Sanitätsfahrzeug machte sich der Lo 2000 von Anfang an nützlich. Ab 1934 bereicherten sogar erste Sattelzugmaschinen das Programm.Schrittweise vermehrte sich die Lo-Familie um Typen mit höherer Nutzlast und stärkeren Motoren. Der Vierzylinder wuchs von 3,8 auf 4,9 Liter Hubraum, schließlich gesellte sich eine sechszylindrige Variante mit 7,4 Liter Hubraum und stolzen 95 PS dazu.The oldest truck was built in 1896 by Gottlieb Daimler.Am 1. 1976 Dodge D300 4×4 Brush truck. 318 V8 gas, TF727 automatic. In house built skid load, 250gal poly tank, Honda 18hp pump, 250′ reel mounted hose. Pump can be quickly removed and installed in Boat 1 for offshore fires. Truck is long term loaned from U.S. Department of Forestry.

Members of the Littleton Fire Rescue also pried apart a crushed car, demonstrated new emergency medical equipment and answered questions about fire fighting.Littleton Fire Rescue hosted the event. The muster is the largest event of its kind in the Rocky Mountain region.

This old ice cream truck and dune buggy are sitting just off U.S. Hwy. 31 a few miles north of Brewton, Alabama. The ice cream truck is a retired post office mail delivery van. The dune buggy is built on a Volkswagen chassis.
